Sold in 80" x 40" sheets. Thicknesses include 1/2" (0.5"), 1", and 2".

MetzoProtect FRM-C Foam has been tested to meet the following flammability standards:

  • California Technical Bulletin 117
  • NFPA 130
  • FMVSS-302 (Automotive Flammability)
  • 14 CFR (FAR) 25.853(a), Vertical Burn
  • 14 CFR (FAR) 25.853(c), Oil Burn for Seat Cushions

This product meets and greatly exceeds automotive flammability standards.

    • This product is acceptable for use in all types aircraft and rotorcraft
    • Can pass the 14 CFR 25.853(c) Oil Burn for Seat Cushion without a fire blocking layer when paired with a suitable dress cover. (Note: A dress cover passing 25.853(a) does not necessarily mean it will perform well during the Oil Burn test).
    • Use of fireblocking fabric can greatly increase cushion performance during testing.
    Boat-Partial-Compliant.png This product is acceptable for use in marine interiors, but is not water resistant or repellent. A waterproof barrier may be required.
